“Audio source separation” is reminiscent of the “multitrack recording” that has profoundly shaped the modern music industry.

Based on the sound archives collected by Family of the Puppeteer, a program of the Talking Drums Radio, this program explores how broadcasting system is related to human body and our way of thinking, and thereby produces a “user’s manual.”

Featuring ethnic ballads passed down from generation to generation, this program blends them into a medley so that the ballads from different places sound as if they were formed naturally in the same settlement.
